Dun Chnocan

Dun Chnocan

View of the impressive Dun Chnocan in Glen Lyon, Valley of the sun Gods. The famous rock named Craig Fhionnaidh lies at the foothills marked by two crosses. The Black Plague hit the Glen in 664 AD. Adamnan is said to have summoned God’s help and cast the evil spirits of the disease onto this rock on which he had placed his foot.
